One of the reasons I chose Daily Paintworks as a place to showcase my paintings is the weekly challenges they host. Last weeks's challenge was titled "The Seeing Double Challenge," in which the artist creates two unique works based on the same subject. The two paintings should be different size, and have a different composition. I love how loose they leave the guidelines, making for wonderful and unique entries. I don't know why I chose a challenge with two paintings to start me off, but it was fun! This painting is part one of my entry.
